The GE Aerospace manufacturing site in Lynn designs, produces, assembles, and tests military and commercial aircraft engines and components. With 1.6 million sqft of manufacturing space, we're making a huge contribution to the future of flight. The Engineering Delivery Team is responsible for execution of engineering activities to validate and enable manufacturing and producibility. The execution of these projects has significant impact to customer and business goals both in the short-term and long-term. Role requires a dedicated and dynamic engineer to execute the delivery of structural castings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for task prioritization, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining effective communication with senior leadership. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of producibility changes through creation of standard work. You will apply engineering concepts to design, drafting and manufacturing issues. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to substantiate and document changes. You will engage with colleagues and partners in manufacturing sites to refine engineering solutions. You will manage projects related to the modernization of engineering requirements to streamline supplier communication and collaboration.

  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • Develop specialized knowledge in their discipline.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
