Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing

As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will collaborate with Micron's global design and verification teams. You will support groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to design products that optimize manufacturing functions and ensure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer happiness. We are involved in building groundbreaking silicon-to-systems solutions, from technology development and sophisticated memory designs to product development, systems design, and validation, resulting in world-class memory solutions.

  • Develop, design, optimize, and verify, block-level circuits for DRAM related projects at Micron.
  • Work with the product engineering team to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits.
  • Collaborate with the process integration and transistor modeling teams in designing the circuits to be used on Micron's next trailblazing process nodes.
  • Interface and support Micron's various design teams in US/Japan/India and other countries and leverage vast resources available throughout Micron sites.
  • Provide layout supervision, as well as optimize layout throughout post-layout simulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in mix-signal, digital, or analog IC design and development for volatile or nonvolatile memory technology.
  • Proven experience in IC design with exposure to Regulator, Charge Pump, Oscillator, Current reference, Bandgap, and Comparator design experience is required.
  • Exposure to modeling and simulation of ICs using SPICE and Verilog.
  • 2+ years of experience communicating with technical and non-technical team members across a large organization.
  • Solid knowledge of Synopsys and Cadence Virtuoso.
  • BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant Semiconductor Manufacturing experience.
  • MSEE + 5 or BSEE + 10 years' post graduate mix-signal or analog IC design experience.
  • 3+ years of exposure to circuit debugging in collaboration with other engineering teams.
  • Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).
  • Choice of medical, dental and vision plans.
  • Benefit programs that help protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury.
  • Paid family leave.
  • Robust paid time-off program.
  • Paid holidays.
