As the Staff Engineer with the Retail Media Network Ad Engineering, you will lead the technical development and technical strategy of the company's self-service ad platform. This role is responsible for collaborating closely with product, marketing, data science, and external partners to build and optimize a robust, scalable, and innovative ad platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ad technology, programmatic advertising with the ability to drive technical initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be a technical leader across multiple products or systems and recognized as an expert and thought leader in this area as well considered a mentor and teacher across squads with the ability to influence outside their direct teams. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location.
