About The Position

Vector Atomic is at the forefront of building quantum devices that cater to a variety of applications, including GPS-free navigation, geophysical exploration, and telecommunications. Our focus is on delivering near-term products that leverage the unique properties of quantum systems, ensuring that our devices are not only innovative but also practical for real-world applications. We are currently seeking Electrical Engineers to join our team in developing ultraprecise quantum devices. This hands-on role emphasizes the design of low-noise, low-power analog and mixed-signal circuits, and we are looking for strong individual contributors who take ownership of their work while supporting the overall goals of the team. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of physicists, electronics engineers, and optical engineers to create next-generation quantum instruments. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and verifying analog and mixed-signal circuits for precision inertial navigation systems (INS). A solid understanding of electronic noise sources, measurement techniques, and mitigation strategies will be essential, as you will need to quickly adapt to these subjects to address design challenges effectively. You will also be involved in selecting parts, procuring, fabricating, and assembling printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), as well as creating schematics and assisting with layout to enhance signal integrity. Additionally, you will assist with board bring-up and debugging, developing test scripts and documentation to facilitate validation. Collaboration with software engineers will be crucial as you provide support and technical guidance during the programming and interaction with your circuits. Continuous improvement is a key aspect of our development process, and you will contribute by writing task tickets in Jira to track progress and enhancements.
