In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Water Solution team. You will provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff in the regional design centers that are supporting project detailed design. You will serve as a technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations, support business development related to enhanced Electrical services, and build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers. This role will support projects for the Phoenix metropolitan area and West Coast Region of the United States.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer’s license in AZ or another US jurisdiction.
  • 5-8 years in electrical design, planning and construction services.
  • Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred.
  • Experience in medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, including variable frequency drives and standby diesel generators.
  • Understanding of PLC hardware and software setup, network configuration, HMI, SCADA system, instrumentation and fiber optic cabling.
  • Experience in a client-facing/business development role.
  • Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Water Solution team.

  • Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations.
  • Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services.
  • Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
  • Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues.
  • Coordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needs.
  • Review of supplier submittals.
  • Act as a liaison between the local design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design.
  • Startup and testing of major electrical equipment.
  • Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.
