We are looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our Battery Management System team of electrical engineers developing the energy storage and power distribution system for our electric eVTOL aircraft. The goal of a BMS Electrical Engineer at Wisk is to design and develop the electronic assemblies controlling and monitoring the Battery systems, both low and high voltage, including the power distribution and circuit protections. You will be part of ESPS IPT working with the integrated product team that ensures the entire energy storage and power distribution system works safely and correctly. This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View Headquarter office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. In this role you will design the key components of the battery management system for our Gen 6 aircraft. You will interact with other disciplines including systems engineering, mechanical engineering, system tests and others to make sure all aspects of the design are considered for a robust and safe design of our autonomous aircraft. You will support documentation efforts for the successful certification of the Gen 6 aircraft.
