We know what you are thinking…WHAT IS THE ROLE AND WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING? 👀 As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer II, you play a critical role in a team that architects, builds, scales, monitors, and secures our cloud infrastructure. You lead performance and reliability improvements across Housecall Pro’s databases and data usage patterns, working cross-functionally to champion scalable, cloud-native systems that support self-service and high availability. You bring deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to partner with product, engineering, and platform teams. You proactively identify and resolve production issues, focusing on long-term maintainability. You join developer calls, provide architectural guidance, and coach best practices with empathy and clarity. You navigate infrastructure trade-offs with ease and contribute to strategic initiatives related to security, compliance, and business continuity. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable in on-call rotations, using your expertise to triage issues and guide resolutions.
