About The Position

The Department of Human Services, Ebensburg Center is looking for a dedicated training professional to enhance and strengthen training programs for staff, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role involves developing and evaluating training courses, participating in management meetings, and tracking training activities to support staff in providing quality care.

Requirements

• Two years of professional experience developing, teaching, or evaluating training or educational coursework.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall training goals, plans, and requirements for the Ebensburg Center.
• Develop and evaluate various training courses for staff, including general orientation and refresher training.
• Attend meetings and conferences as part of the management team.
• Participate in assorted committees related to training and development.
• Create databases to track training activities and needs of the center.

Benefits

• Full-time employment (37.5 hours a week)
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime as operationally necessary.
• Infrequent travel may be required.
