Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering and 6+ years of industry experience required or the equivalent education and/or experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and AWS cloud computing platforms is required.
• Demonstrable scripting experience with a variety of scripting languages for automating tasks, generating reports, and creating tools is required.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, continuous integration and deployment tools, specifically GitLab, Ansible, AWS CDK/Terraform, is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in designing, analyzing, & troubleshooting large-scale systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams across a full stack of development tools and technologies.
• Provision, configure, maintain, and debug containerization.
• Design cloud infrastructure surrounding secure networking best practices.
• Implement industry-leading technologies and toolsets to enable developers to innovate in record time.
• Create, evolve, scale, integrate, fortify, and automate our deployment pipeline and core services.
• Manage, build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain components that comprise the DevOps environment.
• Design and maintain tools to automate operational processes, reduce operational friction, and increase engineering efficiency.
• Integrate continuous testing tools to provide quick and timely feedback on the quality of the software release and code.
• Contribute to team collaboration to enhance our CI/CD solution for the platform and logging infrastructures.
• Define standards and help maintain DevOps Operational environments, automating and using infrastructure as code.
• Identify and provide recommendations for enhancing performance, assisting in implementation, and performing infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
• Act as an escalation point to troubleshoot and resolve issues in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Drive architectural direction and improvements in organizational practices and processes.
