About The Position

Cedarville University is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver and Shipping Clerk in the Retail Services area. This role is responsible for the pickup, organization, and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail and packages, along with occasional window sales and services. The position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to learn various mail delivery processes and operate necessary equipment.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn intercampus mail delivery routes and postal processes.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to operate a box truck and lift equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and carrying large items.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mail operations and tracking systems.
• Familiarity with postal regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Organize and track mail and package processes.
• Occasionally assist with window sales and services.
• Operate equipment including cash registers, computers, postage meters, and bindery equipment.
• Learn and follow intercampus mail delivery routes and postal regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery of departmental mail and packages.
