Our Ads Data Science team supports product and business success by transforming large-scale data into actionable insights, defining success metrics, guiding product decisions, and measuring impact. In partnership with PM, Engineering, Sales, and Finance, the team informs every stage of the product lifecycle - from identifying opportunities to evaluating performance and shaping long-term strategy across supply, demand, and customer insights. As a founding Data Scientist on this team, you will have strong ownership to company revenue growth and overall business success and work across multiple areas within Ads, including Vector initiatives, supply-side analytics, and Sales insights. You’ll establish a product analytics culture, take ownership of high-impact ML products, and define how data drives decisions.   • Collaborate closely with PM, Engineering, Sales, and other cross-functional leaders to inform strategy and support decisions across our Ads group.
  • Transform large-scale datasets into actionable insights, using quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to support product and business success.
  • Define success metrics, track performance, and measure the impact of ML and product initiatives.
  • Guide product decisions by uncovering trends, identifying opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations and driving product roadmaps.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, translating business questions into analytical work that drives decisions and identifies process improvements.
  • Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in statistical analysis and experimentation using Python, R, or equivalent, with strong skills in quantitative problem solving and understanding user behaviors and ecosystems.
  • Strong experience transforming large-scale data into actionable insights
  • Bias for action, curiosity, and proactiveness, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems and explore patterns.
  • Resilient and adaptable, navigating uncertainty and learning from setbacks, with an optimistic, solution-focused approach grounded in first-principles thinking.
  • Experience in AdTech, performance marketing, mobile games industry or SaaS (marketplace) products is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience developing, deploying, or analyzing ML products and models in a production environment.
