As the Staff, Cybersecurity Engineer you will assist in the development of scalable security and governance solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. Guide the design, management, and maintenance of Azure Security services (Defender for Cloud, Workload Protection, Application protection, Advanced threat protection etc.).

Requirements

  • An experienced Azure Engineer with knowledge of Azure security, automation, and data governance solutions.
  • Strong automation experience using Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM (Azure Resource Manager), Azure LogicApps and Azure Functions.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Sentinel.
  • Experience in the technical deployment, configuration, integration, support, and administration of Azure IAM, RBAC, PIM, Defender for Cloud, CSPM, CWPP and Azure purview.
  • Experience developing solutions across the security assurance lifecycle (including prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls).
  • Deep knowledge of security architecture for Azure workloads and resources.
  • Well versed with agile and DevSecOps principles, embedding security throughout CI/CD process.
  • Microsoft AZ-500 (Azure Security) and AZ-305 certification (Azure Architect).
  • Knowledge of Offensive security, Zero Trust and/or Data Governance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of scalable security and governance solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
  • Guide the design, management, and maintenance of Azure IAM, PIM, Security services (Defender for Cloud, Workload Protection, Application protection, Advanced threat protection etc).
  • Automate incident response and remediation using Azure native tools, scripting.
  • Perform threat modelling, risk assessment and data security validation.
  • Provide second and third-level support and analysis during and after a security incident.
  • Maintain current knowledge of security trends, technologies, and best practices around Microsoft solutions.
  • Mentor/train other team members.
