About The Position

The Staff Customer Support Center (CSC) Helpdesk Technician at Collins Aerospace is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers using Raytheon Solipsys software. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, including software license purchases, technical questions, and access to software documentation. The position requires onsite attendance and involves working in a dynamic environment that supports military and defense customers both domestically and internationally.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the Technical Helpdesk or Information Technology field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to work 40 hours a week in 8 hour shifts across a weekly 24/7 scheduling window.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating and maintaining software, computer hardware, or network infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • General knowledge of C++ and Java software development.
  • Previous experience supporting Command and Control software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive customer input via phone and email regarding software license purchases and technical questions.
  • Provide confirmation responses to customer requests and assess their needs.
  • Take action to answer requests or escalate to the engineering team for deeper technical responses.
  • Track customer requests through to completion.
  • Work 40 hours per week supporting 24/7 coverage in the office, including weekends and holidays as needed.
