As a Staff Counsel within PNC's Legal organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. The ELS Staff Counsel will serve as a trusted legal advisor to the ECR group, providing guidance on complex issues and customer correspondence. This position requires exceptional attention-to-detail in reviewing and editing customer complaint response letters, as well as managing and assigning ELS work to support operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills while delivering clear, accurate, and timely legal counsel. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
Roles at this level require a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
Industry-relevant experience is typically 5+ years.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a senior attorney, identifies and manages legal risk for the organization.
Provides procedural legal advice on routine legal matters.
Conducts research and provides legal support to more senior attorneys within the enterprise legal function on a variety of complex legal and business issues.
Reviews and prepares transactional and other routine legal documentation.
