Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Core Engineering field.
  • Five+ (5+) years of Operational Excellence experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree.
  • Ten+ (10+) years of Process Excellence or Business Excellence/Continuous Improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and sustain improvement programs and CI initiatives such as Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis, Process Optimization, Waste Reduction, OEE/Productivity, SMED (Quick Changeovers).
  • Facilitate blitzes/kaizens to support the SQDC initiatives.
  • Perform time studies for manual activities on a regular basis.
  • Design and continuously improve workstations layout and personnel arrangement.
  • Facilitate changes to workstations layout and new machinery, requiring manual activities and need to improve personnel abilities.
  • Perform routes and BOM's studies and provide data to Master Data coordinator.
  • Design and implement fixtures and devices to improve manual activities safety, ergonomics and efficiencies.
  • Ensure the necessary skills, tools and resources are in place to facilitate the optimization of performance.
  • Act as an important Change Agent, Champion for Culture Change and Process Transformation, while driving Continuous Improvement.
  • Provide technical knowledge and support using Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
  • Manage difficult manufacturing processes and problems using sound methodology.
  • Oversee technical and/or engineering personnel assigned to Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Design and lead the implementation of the continuous improvement strategy throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate cost savings (A3) Process.
  • Lead Continuous improvement Project Management.
  • Support leadership in meeting business goals.
  • Review ongoing performance trends to drive overall improvement and consistency in manufacturing line output.
  • Collaborate with Managers/Leaders to identify each department's top priorities.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Implement systematic problem solving/root cause analysis process.
  • Participate in new product introductions and product transfer ensuring waste is identified and eliminated.
  • Engage, train and coach all employees to become active champions of the process.
