About The Position

This role is a high-impact design position focused on shaping how AI models interact with users across core consumer experiences. You will treat the AI model as a product, balancing its capabilities with user intent, trust, and clarity. Working closely with research, product, engineering, and design teams, you will create agentic experiences that anticipate and solve customer needs. The position demands a combination of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and exceptional content design skills. You will influence product behavior, lead content initiatives, and elevate design standards across the organization. This role requires independent judgment, collaboration, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI-driven user experiences. Your work will directly impact how users interact with AI to accomplish their goals efficiently and delightfully.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience designing content for consumer digital products, with a portfolio demonstrating mastery in content design, narrative development, and UX copy
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience designing AI or model-driven interactions
  • Strong writing instincts, storytelling skills, and expertise in crafting user experiences that delight and clarify
  • Technical fluency to understand AI model behavior, prompt engineering, and data-driven content optimization
  • Deep knowledge of information architecture, visual-verbal design, and content systems
  • Strategic thinker capable of connecting user research, business goals, and product vision into actionable content frameworks
  • Self-directed, independent operator comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Excellent communication skills to advocate for content strategy and AI interaction design across teams
  • Experience mentoring and developing designers, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with research teams to anticipate user needs and design AI behaviors that feel natural, helpful, and engaging
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish a unified conversational voice and consistent model experience across the product
  • Design system prompts and content frameworks that guide AI responses, ensuring personalization, scalability, and reliability
  • Own content initiatives from ideation to launch, including measurement, evaluation, and optimization to drive meaningful product outcomes
  • Develop approaches for gathering and refining training data to improve AI performance and accuracy
  • Uphold content standards and ensure consistent, high-quality model communication across all user interactions
  • Mentor and guide other content designers, establishing best practices and elevating the overall craft of the team
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while balancing priorities, maintaining quality, and delivering on deadlines
