Position Summary The Staff Security Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security measures to protect the organization’s digital infrastructure. This position requires deep hands-on expertise with modern security platforms, technologies, and frameworks to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. In parallel, the role encompasses Cloud IAM engineering responsibilities, including the design, development, automation, and testing of identity and access management procedures for role-based access within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Working closely with Enterprise Information Security, infrastructure teams, and application development partners, this engineer will operate in a highly collaborative, hands-on environment to deliver secure, efficient cloud access. The ideal candidate combines strong practical security knowledge with robust IAM and GCP automation skills to support enterprise-wide security initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of prior experience in the related IT/Cloud field
• 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform
• 3+ years of experience with SIEMs such as Wiz, Splunk, Chronicle and SCC
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with common scripting and programming languages such as bash and Python

Nice To Haves

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Subject matter expertise on Google cloud security and related API’s
• Ability to troubleshoot IAM issues, access levels across a GCP organization
• Understanding of IAM hierarchy in GCP
• A customer service mindset and the ability to find solutions to access related challenges
