The Role: As a Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer at Celonis, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and building cloud solutions that drive the scalability, reliability, and performance of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based microservices and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Strong expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s).
Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Action, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash, Go).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices.
Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and monitoring tools(e.g. Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement cloud-based microservices, leveraging Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
Conduct performance analysis and evaluation to optimize system performance and scalability.
Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure and microservices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and cloud technologies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
