About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Architect with a strong systems administration foundation to design, implement, and optimize our cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP. This role bridges technical depth with strategic architecture, requiring both hands-on expertise and the ability to envision enterprise-scale solutions in a multi-cloud environment. You will have the opportunity to architect solutions across leading cloud platforms, in a collaborative environment with continuous learning and exposure to diverse technologies, and pursue professional development, including certifications and training across multiple cloud providers, access to multi-cloud labs, and sandbox environments. This position requires someone who can think architecturally across cloud platforms while maintaining the practical troubleshooting mindset that comes from systems administration experience—someone who understands both the "what" and the "how" of multi-cloud infrastructure and can make informed decisions about when to use each platform's strengths.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of hands-on Azure experience across compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Five or more years of GCP experience with core services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking.
  • One or more years of AWS administration experience with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and service management.
  • Good understanding of cloud networking, including private connectivity, hybrid architectures, and cross-cloud communication patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of AI-based implementations to collaborate and design GenAI- and AgenticAI-based solutions for internal requirements.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including PowerShell, Python, and Bash for automation.
  • Be able to prioritize deployments using IAC, and integrate workflows with the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools across platforms (Azure Monitor, Cloud Operations Suite, CloudWatch).
  • Deep understanding of identity and access management using Entra ID, Google Cloud Identity, and AWS IAM.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying PaaS services across clouds (Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL DB, Azure OpenAI, Redis Cache, Azure App Service/Functions, Cloud Run/Functions).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes (AKS, GKE, EKS) and container services.
  • Eight or more years of systems administration experience managing Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise networking.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience architecting multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies with workload distribution across providers. Background in DevOps practices and multi-cloud CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Experience with cost management across multiple cloud billing models.
  • Experience with MLOps using Databricks. Understanding of database services across platforms (PostgreSQL/Cosmos DB, Cloud SQL/Firestore/BigQuery, RDS/DynamoDB) and other cloud services like OpenAI, Gateways, Load Balancers, etc.
  • Professional cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Solutions Architect Associate or higher).
  • Capable of collaborating with the AI team on implementing Agentic AI and GenAI based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud architectures across Azure and GCP, focusing on scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Guide cloud migration initiatives, translating on-premises workloads into cloud-native or hybrid solutions.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform or cloud-specific tools (ARM templates, Deployment Manager, CloudFormation).
  • Have an automation mindset, use DevOps tools and processes, to prioritize programmatic implementations
  • Enhance workflows with Gen AI and Agentic AI, and integrate with the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement governance frameworks, including Azure Policy, GCP Organization Policies, and AWS Service Control Policies.
  • Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies across multiple cloud providers and regions.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement Zero Trust architectures and compliance requirements across cloud platforms.
  • Develop cloud-agnostic solutions where appropriate, and cloud-specific optimizations where beneficial.
  • Mentor engineering teams on multi-cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Optimize cloud spend through rightsizing, committed use discounts, reserved instances, and architectural improvements.
