About The Position

Zscaler is looking for an experienced Staff Business Systems Analyst - Payroll Application (Dayforce Focus) to join our Corporate IT Business Applications team. This role offers flexibility to work remotely within the United States, with a preference for candidates based near our San Jose, CA office who can participate in a hybrid schedule (3 days per week onsite). Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Payroll Application, you will be responsible for application management as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Dayforce Payroll application, ensuring optimal usage and system performance. You will collaborate with payroll and HR stakeholders to gather and document business requirements to align processes with system capabilities, lead system upgrades, integrations, and configuration projects, analyze business needs to design solutions that improve workforce management efficiency, investigate and resolve payroll system issues while providing end-user support and training, and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into payroll operations and HR metrics and addressing data needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing payroll applications with strong focus on Dayforce or similar payroll applications like ADP or Workday Payroll.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, federal and state labor laws, tax laws, and compliance measures.
  • Proven ability to configure and optimize payroll systems and document workflows with technical implementation strategies.

  • Experience integrating Dayforce with ERP or HCM systems.

  • Dayforce ICP implementation experience.
