Staff Backend Engineer
About The Position
Duranta's mission is to help create a more beautiful world. We are achieving this goal by building the world's most sophisticated platform for analyzing geospatial data, and combining it with intuitive workflows to help contractors design, install and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. We are seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for development of the back-end for our web-application and for the mobile apps. We highly value expertise in building smooth and pleasant UI experiences, so your job will include building a highly optimized stack where every millisecond of delay counts.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in the modern backend web development
- Deep knowledge of Go-based server development
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- AWS experience (DynamoDB, S3, EC2, IAM)
- Experience designing robust APIs for distributed systemsDevOps experience (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of computer graphics
- Experience in building CAD applications, 3D games, or any other computer graphics related applications
- Experience in developing offline-capable applications
- OpenTelemetry experience
- Using and developing with Kubernetes
