Assurance Dimensions is a licensed and growing CPA firm offering “big firm” services with a personalized touch. We provide tailored financial business solutions to help clients improve efficiency and profitability. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to delivering high-quality service while fostering a culture of growth and development. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Audit Associate with at least 1 year of public accounting experience to join our assurance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue building their career in audit while gaining exposure to a variety of industries. This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 3.0 GPA or higher in major preferred
- Understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
- Minimum of 1 year of public accounting or audit experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to audit software is a plus (Case Ware & Idea)
Nice To Haves
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the performance of audit, review, and compilation procedures under supervision.
- Prepare workpapers and documentation that support audit conclusions.
- Learn to apply accounting and auditing principles to real-world scenarios.
- Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and team members.
- Assist in gathering and organizing client data and supporting documentation.
- Stay current on changes in accounting and auditing standards and firm procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
