Under general supervision of the Chair of Communication Disorders and Sciences, the Staff Audiologist provides professional clinical services in auditory testing, vestibular testing, and hearing aid dispensing offered to clients and their families at the CSUN Language, Speech and Hearing Center. The incumbent assumes an essential role for participating as a preceptor for on-campus practice placements for the students in the Doctor of Audiology Program in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences, and provides advisory input for the Center's audiology budget and on policies and procedures for scheduling (clients, students, and preceptors).
