RAA seeks an experienced and agile Legal Counsel to join our dynamic in-house legal team and deliver high-quality, professional legal services to RAA brands, teams, and divisions. This role is ideal for a motivated, business-minded attorney with 3-5 years of legal experience who thrives in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment and wants to expand their practice scope and experience across commercial, regulatory, and corporate legal matters, with a primary focus on supporting the company's contractual relationships.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts, including vendor, service, supply chain, distribution, and technology agreements
  • Maintain and improve contract templates and clause libraries, and develop internal playbooks and fallback positions
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle including intake, tracking, execution, and storage using CLM tools and with the support of an executive administrative assistant
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal clients regarding contract-related matters
  • Provide legal support for marketing, retail, e-commerce, and wholesale operations
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-oriented guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Assist in managing corporate governance and entity maintenance
  • Support compliance programs (e.g., privacy, advertising, consumer protection, supply chain, product)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Texas bar
  • 3-5 years of relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney
  • Demonstrated experience with commercial contracts and business transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
  • Business-minded with a willingness to learn new areas of law and company operations
  • Practice experience with or exposure to clients in the apparel and accessories, retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce industries
  • Exposure to privacy laws, employment law, mergers & acquisitions, or intellectual property issues
  • Exposure to technology laws, including the developing body of artificial intelligence laws
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management and electronic signature tools (e.g., LinkSquares, Agiloft, Ironclad, DocuSign)
