Reporting to the Wellington Center Coordinator, the Staff Assistant provides direct support for outreach and enrollment related activities. This includes proctoring exams, sharing general college information, and serving as a liaison between the community and Lorain County Community College. The candidate must be well organized and able to deal effectively with individuals in a variety of roles across campus. Essential abilities include producing correspondence, schedules, and marketing materials; communicating effectively and professionally by phone, in person, and electronically; and assisting in planning, organizing, and implementing meetings, events, and workshops. The role requires the ability to work independently, cooperatively with other staff and faculty, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
