This is a great opportunity to work on a cutting-edge technology like USB Type-C and Power Delivery Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Design and Build: Co-develop and help our strategic customers design and build USB Type-C and Power Delivery interfaces into their systems. Develop, customize and maintain: Design, implement, and maintain firmware for embedded systems, specifically focusing on C Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve firmware-related issues through rigorous debugging and testing processes. Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customers, peer group members, hardware engineers, design engineers, software developers, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration of the functionality. Optimize: Enhance firmware performance, reliability and scalability by implementing best practices and innovative solutions. Validate or Test: Unit testing/ Rigorous testing of firmware and hardware against customer requirements Develop, review or modify: Create or review of reference schematics for customers Document: Write application notes for USB Type-C and Power Delivery applications Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding on ARM architecture
  • Ability to write and debug firmware in C
  • Proficient in embedded systems programming, debugging tools, and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Hands on debugging of various interfaces using Microcontroller products
  • Experience in embedded system design/ debug or applications/customer support
  • Understanding and hands on experience with various microcontroller interfaces and serial interfaces: I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
  • Ability to read customer or internal schematics
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal teams cross functional teams
  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, protocol analyzers
  • Strong team-player
  • Ability to multitask in a high energy environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and enthusiasm for solving customer problems in a collaborative manner
