The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Meet the team: Dexcom is seeking a Mendix Dev Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust applications using the Mendix platform. Your role will involve enhancing user experiences, optimizing system performance, and providing solutions aligned with business requirements, especially within manufacturing contexts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience, senior skill levels.
  • Proven experience in developing Mendix applications from concept through deployment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with other Dexcom teams to develop requirements, design criteria, and testing procedures.
  • You will develop new and maintain existing workflows applications based on Mendix platform, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • You will support manufacturing operations by investigating and solving application issues involving process data collection and integrations with other systems.
  • You will create and update technical, validation, and administrative documentation following Dexcom’s SLDC methodology.
  • You will perform unit, integration, and validation testing both independently and with other teams.
  • You will participate in multiple projects /solution design sessions, providing technical input and best practices.
  • You will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • You will work closely with business analysts and users to gather requirements and translate them into effective Mendix solutions.
  • You will collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand processes and implement supportive application solutions.
