About The Position

In your new role you will: Write system validation plans (SVP) for Infineon products, Design product validation hardware, Contribute new ideas to product development, Validate new ideas using simulation tools or product validation hardware, Validate new chip-sets and VR solutions for customer applications by testing per SVP system test plans. Documentation includes writing Product Data Sheets (derived from engineering specifications), generating design tools and necessary application notes, and generating appropriate white papers. Customer support involves developing and testing customer application evaluation boards as needed, providing technical training to FAEs, sales, and customers as needed, and supporting customer project design-in activities as needed. Occasional travel (Approximately 15% of the time) to provide on-site customer support.

Requirements

• Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English
• MSEE with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC designs
• Extensive lab skills for the test and debug of switch mode power supplies
• Math CAD and Excel for circuit calculations
• Simulation Experience for Power Supply simulation
• Extremely responsive, ready to jump on the most difficult design and/or customer issues instantly
• Good at developing relationships with internal and external engineering community
• Effectively multi-task, manage priorities and solve technical problems independently
• Self-learning, self-disciplined, and a good team player

• Minimum of $160,500 per year and maximum of $179,800 per year
• Eligible to participate in an incentive plan
