The product combines virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallets , enabling users around the world to move seamlessly across a unified financial ecosystem. The Role We're looking for a Staff Android Engineer to lead the development of the company's flagship mobile app. You'll architect the Android stack, set technical standards, and build a high-performance, secure, and beautiful app from the ground up. You'll work closely with a highly experienced founding team, including a CEO, COO, and VP of Product (a veteran of several successful startups) and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a product that defines a new era of financial access. This role may expand into a mobile leadership position overseeing Android, iOS, and mobile web platforms as the company scales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping consumer-facing Android apps at scale.
- Expertise in Java or Kotlin , with strong fundamentals in performance and architecture.
- A product mindset and ownership mentality you care about user experience and outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial energy, curiosity, and comfort working in fast-moving environments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience building for Latin American markets or in fintech
- A good design sense and a full-stack skill set across the mobile or backend stack.
