Requirements

6+ years of experience as an Android engineer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality products
Expertise in Android development, including Java or Kotlin programming language, Android SDK, and UI/UX design principles
Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, Android's UI framework, and data storage solutions
Bachelors Degree in Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience developing high quality, large-scale consumer applications.
Experience with A/B testing and able to do experiment analysis

Responsibilities

Building brand-new user experience products for Coupang's search and discovery surfaces across platforms
Maintaining high-quality, critical search-related components on the Android platform to ensure a robust, fluent, and fast app experience
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product managers, designers, and other functions) to build holistic experiences that meet our customers' needs
Contributing best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative consumer-facing mobile products
