About The Position
The Staff Analyst Trainee I/II position at MABSTOA involves assisting with technical support in the planning, scheduling, and development of the transit network. The role includes performing in-depth data collection and analysis, developing maps and graphic representations of complex data, and maintaining reports from a database to track various metrics within Operations Planning. The position also requires recommending service revision plans based on analysis results, which include train and bus operations. Additionally, the role involves representing Operations Planning and the MTA in coordination with city agencies, elected officials, and other stakeholders, while supporting the Unit's management initiatives.
