Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related discipline
  • Must be a US person
  • 10+ years of experience in embedded systems and software engineering for automotive or related industries
  • 8+ years of demonstrated, hands-on experience with design, implementation, and validation of complex control software for embedded systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to frame business challenges into AI opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to design, prototype, and evaluate AI/ML solutions using modern tools and platforms (e.g., Python, PyTorch, Azure Databricks)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in data science preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement proof-of-value AI solutions for prioritized use cases (e.g., coding assistants, test script generation, etc.)
  • Translate embedded system constraints (e.g. latency and reliability) into model design and deployment strategies
  • Stand up reusable pipelines, evaluation mechanisms, and lightweight MLOps patterns using approved platforms (e.g., Databricks, internal tools)
  • Collaborate with embedded software teams to integrate AI-enabled tools into existing processes
  • Mentor the broader organization on AI concepts and tools through workshops, code walkthroughs, and documentation
  • Share outcomes of AI pilots with leadership and link results to measurable business impact (productivity, quality, time savings)
  • Partner with IT and governance teams to ensure responsible and compliant AI adoption
