Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related discipline
Must be a US person
10+ years of experience in embedded systems and software engineering for automotive or related industries
8+ years of demonstrated, hands-on experience with design, implementation, and validation of complex control software for embedded systems
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to frame business challenges into AI opportunities
Demonstrated ability to design, prototype, and evaluate AI/ML solutions using modern tools and platforms (e.g., Python, PyTorch, Azure Databricks)

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in data science preferred

Responsibilities

Design and implement proof-of-value AI solutions for prioritized use cases (e.g., coding assistants, test script generation, etc.)
Translate embedded system constraints (e.g. latency and reliability) into model design and deployment strategies
Stand up reusable pipelines, evaluation mechanisms, and lightweight MLOps patterns using approved platforms (e.g., Databricks, internal tools)
Collaborate with embedded software teams to integrate AI-enabled tools into existing processes
Mentor the broader organization on AI concepts and tools through workshops, code walkthroughs, and documentation
Share outcomes of AI pilots with leadership and link results to measurable business impact (productivity, quality, time savings)
Partner with IT and governance teams to ensure responsible and compliant AI adoption
