About The Position
As a structural design engineer, you will be responsible for designing primary and secondary aircraft structural parts and assemblies, both metallic and composite, using Siemens NX and Fibersim. You will assist in developing standard methodologies for airframe design and work closely with your team lead, suppliers, and engineers from design, stress, and materials & processes throughout the entire product development process, from prototype to high-rate production. Your role will also involve applying design for manufacturing concepts to create designs that are cost-effective and easy to fabricate at scale, as well as supporting manufacturing to ensure the successful build of the airframe and its integration with the aircraft.
