This Staff Accounting Supervisor role is central to that effort, leading day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and guiding a team responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable financial data across the organization. Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Several years of progressive accounting experience, with prior supervisory or senior accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and lead in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and association accounting activities
Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting packets, including budgeting and forecasting
Reconcile bank accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items
Manage month-end processes, including billing and account transfers for associations
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of staff accountants to ensure accuracy and productivity
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial operations
