About The Position
The Staff Accountant contributes to the success of Sur La Table by owning the complete and timely processing of journal entries, analysis of general ledger account balances and other monthly closing activities to ensure accurate financial results. This position requires research in response to internal and external inquiries, analyzing financial information as part of the financial reporting process, audit participation and performing other general accounting and analytical duties. The Staff Accountant relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals. The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager.
