About The Position

The Staff Accountant at Foamtec International is responsible for performing routine accounting activities, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing various internal and external financial reports. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end close duties, and ensuring accurate bank transactions and reconciliations.

Requirements

• BBA in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of continuous accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Advanced computer skills (advanced Excel)
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & SAP B1 or other similar ERP software

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts payable aging and analysis.
• General ledger posting and monthly/year-end reconciliations.
• Process and apply customer checks, credit card, and wire payments to invoices.
• Maintain accounts receivable aging and analysis, assist with problem collections and reconciliations.
• Weekly review of timecards and running bi-weekly payroll in ADP.
• Record payroll transactions in SB1 monthly.
• Record & reconcile 401k fees, setup 401k ER match for employees as they become eligible.
• Review and monitor credit card accounts, post transactions monthly in general ledger.
• Inter-company accounting correspondence and management, reporting monthly sales and expenses to corporate office.
• Prepare & distribute monthly sales reports for division sales.
• Prepare & process payments for quarterly outside sales commissions.
• Reconcile expense reports weekly for employees according to internal procedures.
• Assist with month-end close process.
• Assist with annual accounting audit.
• Various ad-hoc accounting projects and reconciliations.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned by Accounting Supervisor.
