ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for reviewing and posting daily transactions, general ledger entries, and some accounts receivable. Must be detail oriented, possess good organizational, communication and analytical skills and be capable of multi-tasking. Review night audit reports for accuracy and correct errors as needed. Manage bank deposits and petty cash. Prepare special events billing from invoicing to final payment. Ensure accurate posting of daily transactions. Process and manage advance deposits. Review aging reports for past due balances. Review Catering and Group contracts for accuracy and proper billing. Assist with processing travel agent commissions. Create/manage point-of-sale items and menus Possess a working knowledge of property management systems. Willing to work overtime hours as needed. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar combination of accounting education and experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Accurate 10 key by touch skills.
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable and general ledger software is required.
  • Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills.
  • Must have competency in interacting with vendors, Club members, guests and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively under deadlines.

  • Related experience in customer service, restaurant or hospitality preferred.
