About The Position

The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role with exposure to multiple areas of accounting and opportunities to grow as the company continues to expand.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger and accounting principles
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
• Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service-based industries is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Assist with budgeting and internal financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support audits and special projects as needed
