About The Position

The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of Br. This position supports month-end close, billing processes, and financial reporting to help ensure smooth operations across all departments. By performing reconciliations, managing client invoicing, and assisting with internal reporting, the Staff Accountant helps drive timely decision-making and strong fiscal management. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and accounting systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear documentation
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Willing to work an in-office schedule with flexibility during close periods

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Process client invoicing, billing adjustments, and collections follow-up
  • Manage accounts receivable communications, including billing inquiries
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Assist with commission, calculations and internal reporting projects
  • Partner with Finance leadership on process improvements and reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial documentation for adults or reviews
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing questions and ensure timely invoices
  • Participate in ad hoc accounting projects as assigned
