Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the field or a related area.
Understanding of accounting principles and proper accounting procedures.
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including strong Excel experience.
Speed and accuracy in data entry, with the ability to review/audit work.

Responsibilities

Completing Month End Process: Play a significant role in the month end close process including accurate and efficient completion of required journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
Assist with Budgeting: Assist with the annual budgeting process, including working with various department heads to prepare SE&A Departmental for the remainder of the current year and the plan year.
Oversee Cash: Provide weekly and daily cash updates.
Assist with Audit and Tax Work: Assist with the annual audit and tax process, including preparing audit workpapers for accounts responsible for throughout the year and working with department heads and sister companies for tax information.
