Requirements

2-5 years of accounting experience required
Experience with construction accounting and job costing is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Working knowledge of ERP and double-entry accounting systems
Has knowledge of and experience with standard accounting software such as Foundations, Great Plains, Sage, and Peachtree

Responsibilities

Monitor job costs and analyze project profitability, helping leadership understand financial performance across projects.
Support billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and monthly close activities.
Maintain labor costing and financial analysis spreadsheets to track operational performance and support decision-making.
Review inventory transactions, cost accounting, and COGS to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Perform reconciliations (balance sheet, bank, and credit cards), assist with fixed assets, and help prepare financial statements for management.
