The Staff Accountant performs daily financial tasks, ensuring accuracy by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing AP/AR, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting (balance sheets, income statements) for closes, budgeting, and audits, and reporting to the Controller. The ideal candidate is meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data accurately, and excellent communication skills for clear reporting. Key traits also include high professional integrity, organization, time management, and adaptability to new technologies, alongside fundamental technical accounting knowledge and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
