Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring an onsite Staff Accountant to join our team! The Staff Accountant prepares and reviews financial statements and reporting. The position is responsible for managing the general ledger and accounting for multiple long-term care pharmacies. In addition, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Perform monthly financial close functions through the preparation of financial statements for multiple entities Reconciliation of general ledger accounts Assist in overseeing Accounts Payable, Payroll and Fixed Asset processes Preparation of sales and property tax returns Prepare annual business license renewals in multiple states Work collaboratively with operations on organization’s financial strategy (includes annual budgeting and monthly reporting) Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three years experience in an accounting role preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and high level of technical knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good financial instincts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others while also being self-directed and motivated
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, multi-task environment.

  • Quickbooks, ADP, UKG (Kronos) experience a plus

Responsibilities
