About The Position

The Accountant performs professional and analytical tasks in the
accounting/finance function. Tasks are sometimes repetitive in nature and
follow prescribed procedures. At other times tasks are unique and require
independent analysis to achieve general objectives. Work is performed
independently, but is reviewed by management prior to release. As circumstance
warrant, procedures are developed to provide accounting control over areas of
financial risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Business or Accounting
• Two years Accounting experience
• General Ledger Accounting, Financial Analysis and Excel or similar spreadsheet or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial reports including financial statements, cost reports, and various transaction reports.
• Prepares financial analyses.
• Develops accounting procedures and controls.
• Prepares account and other data reconciliation.
• Other duties as assigned.
