The Position This is a temporary position, with the assignment expected to last around 3 months.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
3+ years of accounting experience, with cash basis accounting and/or partnership accounting a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with managers.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and Word.

Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliations.
Perform balance sheet and income statement general ledger account reconciliations in Microsoft Excel
Record journal entries.
Perform account analysis including variance analysis and actual vs budget analysis.
Review general ledger transactions and write brief description in preparation for transaction grouping and analysis
Review general ledger transactions and performing reclassifications to correct any errors
Prepare raw transaction data for clear and concise reporting based on firm standards.
