Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Compile, analyze and report financial data. Reconcile general ledger accounts Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. Maintain accurate financial records. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances. Remain informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting. Provide back-up support to other accounting/finance/AP department positions. Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports. Maintain understanding of accounting and financial practices and regulations
