We are a relationship-driven company searching for a dedicated team member to join our Greenville office as a Staff Accountant. Staff Accountant Job Summary As the Staff Accountant you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and financial reporting. This role supports the month-end close process and ensures accurate, timely financial information for leadership and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams. Reports to: Director of Finance

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant, Accounting Specialist, or similar accounting/bookkeeping role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup formulas, and logical formulas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented, multi-office environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate operational bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and Ramp
  • Administer the accounts payable function, including bill review, coding, and allocation across accounts and cost centers
  • Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing and posting adjusting journal entries
  • Prepare and distribute weekly financial reports for key stakeholders
  • Maintain established vendor relationships related to accounts payable and billing inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and external vendors via email, phone, and Microsoft Teams
  • Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality of firm, client, and employee financial information
  • Collaborate with team members across offices and departments as needed
