About The Position

We are looking for an analytical Staff Accountant to join our North America operations. This person will be responsible for recording accounting transactions, performing reconciliations, supporting monthly and annual close processes, generating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in mid to large company.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• Conversational English required.
• Strong communication skills and be detail oriented with the ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment.
• Able to apply consistent standards while adapting to frequent changes in Company requirements.
• Be flexible and able to work with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• Microsoft Excel, and Word skills are required.
• Dependable, organized and professional individual who is self-motivated and owns required tasks.
• Values and maintains confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Eclipse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department.
• Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with Accounts payable functions and review to ensure all invoices are accurately reported into the general ledger.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reporting packages by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Assist in developing accounting policies and internal procedures, including analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process by compiling and analyzing data.
• Complete other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
