About The Position

This is a part-time position, with an expected 24 hours of work per week. Two days per week in office in Florence, KY with one day remote. Job Duties: Broad-based financial role with a wide range of responsibilities including monthly accounting and reporting, financial analysis, addressing accounting issues, and internal controls work. Directly reports to Accounting Senior and assists with month end close and recurring duties throughout the month. Special projects as assigned. Duties include but are not limited to monthly journal entries, cleanup of old/unused accounts and transactions, reporting of inventory and production metrics to provide to the plants, recording monthly payroll entries, and other work as assigned. Analyze and review high quality and timely balance sheet account reconciliations. Develop strong relationships with internal team members and interact with inter-department teams to ensure effective and accurate reporting for prompt decision-making.

Requirements

  • Prior accounting experience for a manufacturing company is preferred.
  • Completed or in-process Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify solutions or approaches to complex problems.
  • Should possess an excellent ability to raise questions and issues as encountered in a timely and concise way.
  • Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
