About The Position

OHI Inc.is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team onsite in Mesa AZ, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will assist in the planning, controlling, measuring and reporting of the company’s financial information. The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities and to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. This role requires meeting tight deadlines and handling a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, year-end audit support, and assistance with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

Prior experience supporting inventory accounting and/or manufacturing operations will be required.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and tax laws
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Ability to adapt to and learn new software
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
High attention to detail, strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related required
Minimum 3 years’ working experience in accounting and manufacturing required
